Together - the members lifted cars
On 20 November 2010 Swedish IF Metall members from local trade unions in Kiruna, Umeå, Esk November ilstuna, Trollhättan, Gothenburg and Malmö showed their strength together by lifting cars.
The initiative is part of the Strong Together Campaign.
Young people's way to Europe
The EMF, in cooperation with the Friedrich Ebert Foundation and under EU Commission DG Enlargement People to People Programme, has organised its first Youth Conference.
The conference “Young people’s way to Europe - Youth and Organising” was held in Croatia on 17 and 18 September.
At 11H00 on 18 September a press conference was held.
The conference was intended for young members of EMF affiliated organisations with the age limit of 35.
