The EESC issues statement on the draft conclusion of an international treaty in the run up to EU Summit

In a short statement issued last week the EESC Workers' Group takes stock of the economic situation and lays down a series of demands, ahead of the EU Summit, that it deems necessary to curb speculation and set the economy on the right course. The group expresses solidarity with the Belgian unions in their industrial actions and supports the declaration adopted by the ETUC's Executive Committee.
