CALL FOR TENDER: STUDY ON “THE PERSPECTIVES OF THE EUROPEAN LAND ARMAMENT SECTOR”
The European land armament industry, which is primarily based on national competencies, is one of the leading defence industries in the world. However, the actors in this field face decisive questions about the sustainability, the interoperability and the human resources of their national industries. From military, economic and ecological standpoints, the European land armament industry has not yet reached its full potential. The stakeholders have to find common grounds to develop a sustainable European defence industry that is able to answer the challenges of the 21th century.
For this reason, the EMF organizes a project on the future of the European defence industry to give the main actors of this industry (policy-makers, industry representatives and trade unions) the opportunity to enter into a constructive dialogue.
