International AITTS - Advanced IT Training System provides not only regulated professional profiles and career paths for the IT sector, it is also the first program to formally acknowledge the utility of informal on-the-job training. The AITTS was developed jointly by IT enterprises and social partners under the guidance of the German Fraunhofer Institute. In May 2002, this qualification became legally recognised.
