Birlesik Metal officers chained to ILO building today!

Birlesik Metal together with confederation DISK has organized an action at the gate of the ILO Office in Ankara in order to protest violations of trade union rights and anti-democratic TU legislation in Turkey.

At the moment four trade union officers have chained themselves to the main gate of the ILO building and they are waiting for ILO officers together with others to tell them the demands of Turkish workers.

Why the workers of Getronics Italia manifest in Amsterdam

One year ago a delegation of employees of Getronics Italia met with our Corporate Board to report on errors in the management, the non-respect of the rights of workers and the growing tendency towards the out-sourcing of the DTS activities and E-Learning. In such occasion we informed the Corporate that these decisions would have put many employees at risk let alone worsening the economic result of Getronics Italia with new losses.
