Actions taken in Spain
Last March 20th, the Workers’ Committee in Delphi made a communication for calling to all the citizens to be added to the acts in the following dates.
On March 29th there was a strike and demonstration with work clothes.
On March 31st, there was a concentration in Jerez de la Frontera City Hall from 11:00 to 13:00 h.
On April 12th, demonstration convened at 18:00 h. from Hotel playa Victoria to San Juan de Dios Platz in Cádiz.
On April 18th, a general strike, affecting to the 14th towns concerned in the area.

EMF condemns closure of Delphi plant in Cadiz
The EMF condemns closure of Delphi plant in Cadiz and fully supports workers’ demonstration on 1st March
The European Metalworkers’ Federation (EMF) condemns Delphi’s unilateral and brutal decision announced in the press to close its plant in Cadiz (Spain) and expresses its full support to Delphi employees in Cadiz who will demonstrate on 1st March for the future of their plant and their jobs.
