Meeting regional network collective bargaining
The regional network collective bargaining from Belgium – The Netherlands – Nordrheinland Westphalia has organised a third seminar on education and training.
The seminar took place on 28 September in Germany.
Each of the seminars focussed on the basic education system in each country as well as on the initiative for further education and life-long learning. This time the German system was thoroughly analysed, discussed and compared to the two other models. (To read more about the German system see presentation below.)
The meeting was again organised in a more broad context of highlighting the joint issue of the “First EMF Common Demand: The Individual Right to Training guaranteed by collective agreements” and the several initiatives undertaken by the trade unions in this network in this field. Noteworthy is that the Dutch trade unions are currently starting up their collective bargaining round where this will also be on the agenda.
On a more festive note we can also mention that this seminar also highlighted the 10th anniversary of the regional network B-Nl-NRW, something that the participants of course could not let pass unnoticed.
