International Women's Day 8 March 2007

08/03/2007

The EMF supports the ETUC call on the EU to put forward concrete proposals to achieve work-life balance for workers.

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC) strongly believes that enabling women and men to combine a career with parenthood is a prerequisite for gender equality. Moreover, after 5O years, the ETUC deplores the persistent pay gap affecting women.
