Press conference EMF New Year's Event

Members of the press are cordially invited to attend the EMF’s press conference organized in connection with its New Year’s Reception 2008 on the theme “R&D in the European metalworking industry”.

The Press Conference will be followed by the EMF New Years’ Reception 2008, with the main address given by European Commissioner Janez Potočnik. Members of the press are also invited to the reception.

The venue is the EMF Secretariat, 10th Floor, International Trade Union House (ITUH)
Boulevard du Roi Albert II, 5
B-1210 Brussels

Registration of press representatives will be from 16H15 to 16H40.

The EMF is the representative body defending the interests of workers in the European metal industry. The EMF has a mandate for the external representation and coordination of the metalworkers' unions and a mandate to engage in bargaining at European level.
