Press conference about EADS 27 February at 4 pm

The press is invited to attend a press conference in connection with the current situation and European-wide restructuring plans in respect of EADS on Tuesday 27th February 2007 at 4.00 p.m.

The European Metalworkers’ Federation (EMF) will convene a trade union coordination meeting for all EMF affiliated unions with membership in EADS throughout Europe in order to discuss the current situation and future strategy faced with EADS restructuring plans and prospective job losses in Europe.

This meeting will take place from 11.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. and will be immediately followed by the press conference.

The venue for the meeting and press conference is as follows:

1210 Brussels

Interpretation will be provided in the following languages: English, German, French and Spanish.
